Annapolis' best bartenders
Joe McGovern, better
known as "Little Joe," has been bartending in the D.C. and
Annapolis area for more than 25 years and is well known for being
friendly, professional and just generally great.
He believes "there is more to being a bartender
than just pouring drinks - you're part chemist and part
psychologist." Now a co-owner of Stan and Joe's at 37 West St. in Annapolis, but still behind the bar a few nights a week, Little Joe is the life of the party and a great combination of everything described as necessary in a bartender. He remembers your name and your drink choices, he's friendly and funny, he's quick to get you a drink and willing to listen to you speak.
