Minimums

Private events at Stan and Joe’s Saloon are available without rental fee.  All private events are subject to a food and beverage minimum.  Minimums are based on season and days of the week.  Please contact the Banquet Coordinator for further information.  All parties that do not meet the room minimum will have the difference added to the bill for their event.  Room minimums do not include tax and tip.  Payment is due immediately upon completion of the event.  We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. 

Reservations / Confirmations

To guarantee a private space at Stan and Joe’s, a contract is required to be filled out including the credit card portion in its entirety.  The designated, valid credit card will not be charged until the completion of the event.  Any reservation prior to a complete contract is deemed tentative.  When booking a private party on the patio, the party assumes the risk of inclement weather, and Stan and Joe’s cannot guarantee the space required to relocate the party inside.

Cancellations

Cancellations are required 3 days in advance (72 hours).  If a private event is cancelled within these 72 hours, 50% of food order will be applied to the credit card on file.

Menu

A finalized menu is required 3 working days (72 hours) in advance to ensure receipt of food items requested.  We encourage guests to provide us with their menus with as much advanced notice as possible, though we will accommodate short notice requests to the best of our ability.

Guarantee

Stan and Joe’s require a final guest count 3 working days (72 hours) in advance of an event.  The client agrees to pay for number of attendees listed on invoice; this includes those individuals accounted for in the final head count that do not attend.  Additional guests will be charged based on the originally established rate.   

Food & Beverage

Stan and Joe’s policy requires that all food and beverages be consumed on premise and purchased solely though Stan and Joe’s.  All federal, state and local laws related to food and beverage purchases and consumption will be strictly enforced.  Absolutely no seafood will be allowed to be boxed and taken with after the party has ended.  Outside food and/or beverages are not permitted in this establishment.  This does not include specialty cakes.

Alcohol Consumption

Everyone consuming alcoholic beverages must be 21 years of age or older and will be asked to present proper and valid identification: driver’s license, passports, and military ID.  No Maryland vertical ID’s will be allowed.

Collection Fees

Should Stan and Joe’s employ an attorney to collect any amounts due hereunder the client agrees to pay all costs incurred by Stan and Joe’s including but not limited to reasonable attorney fees, court costs and expenses.

Tax Exempt

Planners requesting tax exempt status are required to submit a copy of their registered exemption certificate prior to the scheduled event.  A copy of this exemption is also required on premise the day of event.  Failure to do this may result in the management’s inability to honor the request.

Liability

Stan and Joe’s Saloon promotes a friendly and safe atmosphere.  The management and owners reserve the right to inspect and control all events and may ask any guest to leave the premises at any time, if it has been determined that their behavior is inappropriate, dangerous, disruptive or destructive.  Damages to the premises will be charged to the client. The client agrees to identify and hold Stan and Joe’s harmless against all claims for injury or damage to persons or property arising out of any act, omission, negligence or misconduct on the part of said client or any of its agents, guests, patrons or invitees.  If it is determined that your group is failing to cooperate and/or comply with our establishment guidelines, Stan and Joe’s reserves the right to shut down the event/function and a refund will not be given.

Personal Property

Stan and Joe’s cannot assume responsibility for personal property and equipment brought to Stan and Joe’s to, during, or at the conclusion of event.

Access

The Lounge is located on the second floor and has handicap restrooms, but is not handicap accessible.

Parking

Parking at any of the meters on the street requires quarters or credit cards Monday – Sunday.  The parking lot next to Stan and Joe’s is available for Stan and Joe’s customers after 4:00pm Monday – Friday, and all day on Saturday and Sunday.
